Created on  | Last modified on

Summary

The payroll audit in Sage 100 Contractor reports mismatching rates or maximums for FICA, Medicare, CPP, EI.

Cause

Social Security/Medicare or CPP/EI rates or maximums on 5-2-1 Employees and 5-3-1 Payroll Calculations don't match.

  5. If you changed the value, choose Options, Update Employees, Update Default Rate and Maximum, ALL Employees.
  6. When you see a confirmation message, click Yes.
    • A message confirms the number of updates
  7. Click OK.
  8. From 5-3-1 Payroll Calculations, repeat steps 3 – 7 for Employee Social Security/Medicare or CPP/EI payroll calculations.
  9. Open 5-3-7 Payroll Audit and click Repair.
    • A message confirms employee totals
  10. Click Yes.

For Exempt Employees
