Sage 300 limits how you change fiscal year start and end dates across company databases. Sage 300 handles fiscal year updates through database setup and fiscal calendar adjustments.

Resolution

You can change the beginning of a fiscal year only for a newly created company.
You can use the fiscal calendar to change the end of a fiscal year.

NOTE:

Reports by period can be inaccurate when periods aren’t full months.
