Summary
How to track hours worked for salaried employees in Sage 50 Accounting.
Resolution
- On the Sage 50 dashboard, select Employees & Payroll.
- Click the Employees icon and select View and Edit Employees.
- On the Employee List, select a salaried employee.
- Click the Pay Info tab.
- Select the pay frequency for the employee. The system will default to the expected Hours per Pay Period.
- Weekly = 40
- Bi-weekly = 80
- Semi-monthly = 88
- Monthly = 176
- Annual = 2,112
- If the number of hours worked differs than the defaulted number of hours, manually enter the correct number in the Hours Per Pay Period field.
- Click Save.
