Recent Changes

  • Minnesota Paid Family Leave (MNPFL and MNPFL_E) changes effective January 1, 2026. The taxable wage limit is $184,500.00. The employee contribution rate for MNPFL is 0.44%. The employer contribution rate for MNPFL_E is 0.44%. Distributed in PTUS 26.01 on December 16, 2025.
NOTE: Sage doesn't automatically add new taxes to the state tax groups. You’ll need to add both MNPFL and MNPFL_E taxes to the MN Tax group. These taxes won’t calculate if you don't add them.
