Uninstall and reinstall the TS PDF Generator

Troubleshooting issues with the TS PDF Generator can require that you remove the TS PDF Generator printer and reinstall it.

CAUTION: This solution needs advanced Operating System knowledge. Consult your system administrator for help. Sage isn't liable for issues caused by improper changes to the Windows Registry. Always back up your data before applying advanced solutions.
 

Choose an option below to remove the TS PDF Generator through Windows Settings or manually. Both options require the use of Windows Administrator privileges.

Remove through Windows Settings

Uninstall

1. Close Sage 300 CRE.
2. Open Windows Settings, Printers & scanners.
3. Click TS PDF Generator and choose to Remove device.
4. Reboot the computer and make sure that the TS PDF Generator is no longer in the list.
5. If it's still in the list, cancel any waiting print jobs and remove the printer again.

Reinstall

1. Open File Explorer and browse to the \\[SageServerName]\Timberline Office\9.5\ACCOUNTING\WinInst\Prerequisites\PDF Converter folder.
2. Right-click RunAmyuniInst.exe and select Run as administrator.
3. Open 300CRE and try to print again.

Remove manually

Uninstall

1. Open Printers & scanners, click the TS PDF Generator and select Remove Device.
2. Open Windows Explorer and browse to %SystemRoot%\System32\Spool\Drivers\x64\3.
3. Delete all files that begin with ACpdf*, ACFpdf.txt, and Cdintf* files.
4. Delete these files from any subdirectories as well.
5. Delete the amyuni_amyunidocumentconverter* directory if it exists.
6. Open C:\Windows\System32 and delete all Cdintf* file.
7. Open C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (if it exists) and delete all Cdintf* files.
8. Open the C:\Program Files (x86)\Timberline Office\Shared directory and delete all Cdintf* files.

Reinstall

1. Browse to the \\[SageServerName]\ProgramData\Sage\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting\WinInst\Prerequisites\PDF Converter\ folder.
2. Run the RunAmyUnilnst.exe.
3. Once the installation is complete, open Windows Settings, Printers & scanners.
4. Select TS PDF Generator, Manage, Printer properties.
5. Select the Advanced tab and verify you set the following options:
   • Always Available
   • Priority: 1
   • Driver: Amyuni Document Converter 550
   • Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster
   • Start printing after last page is spooled
   • Uncheck Enable Advanced Printing Features if checked
6. Go to the Security tab.
7. Select Everyone in the Groups or user names box.
8. Ensure you check the Print, Manage Documents, and Manage Printer options.
9. Go to the Ports tab. Ensure you set the port for the TS PDF Generator printer to NUL:.
