What activity status codes mean in Sage Fixed Assets – Depreciation.
What activity codes represent
Activity codes show the current status of an asset.
The system assigns these codes automatically during asset activity.
These codes affect:
- What actions you can perform on an asset
- How the asset appears in reports
For example:
- When you dispose of an asset, its code changes from Active to Disposed
- You can’t perform functions on a disposed asset
How disposed assets appear in reports
Disposed assets stay visible in most reports indefinitely.
Two reports are exceptions:
- Depreciation Expense report
- Adjusted Current Earnings report
In these reports, the system shows disposed assets only through the disposal year.
The system marks disposed assets with a "D" in the Key column
