Can I print a state-specific Certified Payroll Report?

Aatrix provides State Certified Payroll reports for some states. Run the Certified Report in Payroll if you don't see your state in Aatrix. Use the numbers from the Certified Report to complete your state reporting. Contact your Sage Consultant for assistance if you need a customized report.

As of 25.1 you can select your specific Project or Job when running the Federal or State Specific Certified report. Select none and then select your specific Project or Job.

New York certified reports

As of January 2026: Aatrix is aware that the New York Department of Labor changed their filing requirements for certified payroll reports. The NYSDOL recently changed their process to require employers to upload the report to their site as an XML file. Currently Aatrix can only print the report.

Aatrix is working to make this possible. We’ll provide updates as we get them regarding the timeframe and what the new process will look like.

1. Go to Tasks.
2. Click State eFile and Reporting....
3. Select New report or Saved reports, and click Next.
4. For a New report:
   1. Select the State, Report, and Period End Date.
   2. Click Next.
   3. Select projects you want to include on the report.
   4. Click Next and follow the prompts to generate the report.
5. For Saved reports:
   1. Confirm the Federal ID Number.
   2. Click Open.
   3. Select the report you want to print.
   4. Click View/Print.
   5. Follow the remaining prompts.

What fields does the Federal or State Certified Payroll Reports for Aatrix retrieve from Payroll?
