Grant the user ODBC read access.

  1. Open Sage Desktop as Security Administrator.
  2. Go to Tools, Security Administration or Options, Security Administrator.
  3. Click on User Setup.
  4. Locate user and identify role used for printing report that is generating the error.
  5. Exit User Setup.
  6. Click on Role Setup.
  7. Select role previously identified.
  8. Expand the ODBC box to grant read only permission to this role for the specifc tables this report pulls (ie. If error is with AP report select to allow read permissions to the appropriate AP tables).
  9. Click Save.
  10. Exit Role Setup.
  11. Close Sage Desktop.
