You are generating T4s from Payroll and receive the error "CPP/QPP Pensionable Earnings cannot be blank or exceed maximum Pensionable Earnings" in the Canadian Preparer window. You have more than one province in the Preparer Window You have employees who have earnings in a single province You have employees who are exempt from the CPP tax

For employees that have no amounts in Box 26 CPP/QPP Pensionable Earnings, select the checkbox for Box 28 CPP/QPP Exempt in the Employee Infomation grid.
