Summary
Error: "Record missing in SY_ModuleDate.m4t" or Error: "11 SY_Session.PVC 1474 or 1158 or 2273" when logging into Sage 100
Description
Cause
Records in the SY_ModuleDate.M4T file may be missing or corrupted, or the entire file is corrupted.
Resolution

Note: The SY_ModuleDate.M4T file is used to retain the Accounting Date set per user per module per company code.
- Consider restoring the SY_ModuleDate.M4T file from backup (this is the preferred solution):
- Have all users exit Sage 100
- Via Windows Explorer, access the "..\MAS90\MAS_System" folder where Sage 100 is installed.
- Find and rename the current SY_ModuleDate.m4t file to another name.
- Example: bad_SY_ModuleDate.m4t
- Restore a copy of the SY_ModuleDate.m4t file from a recent good backup (prior to the issue occurring).
- Allow users back into Sage 100
- Consider obtaining a blank SY_ModuleDate.m4t file (with zero records) from another, known good installation (if available).
- Consider manually deleting all records from the SY_ModuleDate.m4t file (not the best option, as the file may be too corrupt to correct, and there may be hundreds of records to delete):
- Have all users (including the user experiencing the error) exit Sage 100
- Log on to Sage 100 under a User Logon with permission to access Data File Display and Maintenance, and other than the one that triggered the error
- Open Library Master, Utilities menu, Data File Display and Maintenance
- For File Name, enter: SY_ModuleDate.m4t
- Once the first record displays, delete each record manually, as follows:
- Click Delete button
- Click Yes button when prompted with the message "Delete the record with the following key?"
Note: It is not possible to use the Reinitialize Data Files utility's Manual option to clear the SY_ModuleDate.M4T file.
