Taxable benefits missing from T4 box 14

Summary

Taxable benefits not showing on T4 within Sage HRMS

Cause

1. T4 Reporting Box 40-Other Taxable Allowances and Benefits will only go to box 40

2. T4 Reporting Non-Taxable Includes in Box 14 and 40 will go to boxes 14 and 40

Resolution

To report a non-taxable employer benefit in T4 boxes 14 and 40, select 'Non-Taxable include in Box 14 and 40' on the Employer tab (Setup > Canadian Payroll > Earnings/Deductions Codes).
