Error "ProvideX: Keyed File: SY_SagePEP.M4T: corrected missing key"

Summary

Providex:Keyed file M:\MAS90\MAS_System\SY_SagePEP.M4T Correcting Missing Key ok or cancel Warning message occurs when starting ERP or shutting down ERP and offers only two options; OK or Cancel. It refers to ProvideX correcting a missing key and does not affect the operation of the ERP, Data, or general use of the system.

Description

Cause

General Cause of the Warning message is that ProvideX is showing an invalid Key within the SY_SagePEP.M4T data file and it is attempting to correct it. It may appear several times when the user is clicking OK button.

Resolution #1:

Restore the following files from Backup to the MAS_System folder on the server location:

  1. SY_SagePEP
  2. SY_SagePEPSettings
  3. SY_SagePEPTask
  4. SY_SagePEPTrack

Resolution #2:

Make a backup of the SY_SagePEP.m4t file.

Manually reinitialize the following files:

  1. Expand Library Master, Utilities, Reinitialize Data Files
  2. Click the Manual button to open the Manual Reinitialize File panel
  3. In the File Name box, enter SY_SagePEP.M4T
  4. Select the appropriate Company Code and click Proceed
  5. Repeat steps for SY_SagePEPSettings, SY_SagePEPTask and SY_SagePEPTrack

Note: If you are prompted that the File Already Defined, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Erase
  2. Close Reinitialize Data Files
  3. Exit the Sage Workstation
  4. Re-launch the Workstation
