Resolution

 CAUTION: This solution requires advanced knowledge of Windows security and network settings. Sage isn't responsible for any issues that arise from changes to these settings. Ensure you back up all system and application databases necessary for a complete restoration. It's advisable to contact a certified consultant or your system administrator for assistance.


By default Sage Intelligence registration process uses a DIRECT Internet access in order to register your product, the error is caused if your Internet access is through a proxy vs being direct, to resolve:

First find out about your proxy setting, the best way to eliminate errors is to copy proxy setting from Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three dots in the top right corner to access the menu.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  3. Scroll down and click on System and performance.
  4. Look for Open your computer’s proxy settings and click on it.

    pen Sage Intelligence License Manager

    Select File, Configure Internet Connection
  8.  

    In the Internet Access Type drop down list, select Proxy, Click Apply
  9.  

    Enter the Proxy Server Address and Port, Click Apply
  10. If you are required to enter a login, select YES from the Prompt for Proxy logon and click Apply
    Click OK and continue with registration
