Summary

Sage 300 doesn’t show the Excel 2007 option during ImportExport when the Microsoft Office Access Database engine is missing. Installing the correct Microsoft engine to fix the show Excel 2007.

Cause

The workstation doesn’t have the Microsoft Office Access Database Engine installed.

Resolution

Install the Microsoft Access Database Engine to enable the Excel 2007 option.

  1. Download Microsoft Office Access database engine 2007.
  2. Install the component on the affected workstation.
  3. Restart Sage 300 and open ImportExport.
  4. Confirm the Excel 2007 file type appears.
