There are no specific tools to show this information. However, you can use a combination of the following methods to help identify.

Launch the Pervasive Monitor Utility at the file server:

  1. At the file server, go to the Start menu.
  2. For versions 24.2 and prior, select Actian PSQL, Pervasive Monitor.
  3. For versions 24.3 and later. select Actian Zen, Zen Monitor.
  4. Press OK on the Select Server window if the correct server is selected.
  5. The Active Files tab will list the open files under the Path column. The active user information will be listed at the bottom after you select a file.

Use Share and Storage Management to check for active files:

  1. At the file server, select Start, Windows Administrative Tools
  2. Select Computer Management.
  3. Expand Shared Folders and select Open files.
  4. Under System Tools select Shared Folders and then Open Files. This should show user names and files opened. For example, Accounts Payable may show up as a AP.LCK file.
