Warning: Payroll record entered for a future calendar year

A payroll record contains a future year check date.

Locate payroll records with an incorrect check date and correct them.

1. Open 5-2-2 Payroll Records.
2. Click the selection arrow in the Record# field.
3. Sort the payroll record selection window by the "Check Date" column.
4. Review the records for dates from a previous year or a future year.
5. Open any incorrect record.
6. Correct the "Check Date".
7. Save the record.

Important

This warning doesn't prevent you from saving the payroll record.

Ignoring the warning can cause incorrect employee quarterly totals, yearly totals, or both.
