Fix missing modules in Sage 100 Module Selection list

Summary

Why are modules missing from the Module Selection list in Sage 100 during installation? This issue occurs when the system doesn’t detect available modules correctly. How to restore missing modules and complete the installation using Sage 100.

Incorrect or incomplete Windows Registry entries prevent Sage 100 from detecting available modules.
Outdated product updates or unsupported modules for a version also cause this issue.

Review module availability

  1. Sign in to Sage 100.
  2. Open Library Master, Setup, System Configuration.
  3. Select the Modules tab.
  4. Confirm the module isn’t in the list.

Remove an existing module entry

  • Create a backup of the MAS90 directory.
  • Remove the module using the related uninstall procedure if it appears in the list.

Update the Windows Registry

  1. Exit Sage 100.
  2. Open Start, Run.
  3. Type RegEdit then press Enter.
  4. Go to the correct registry path for your Sage 100 version:

  5. Double-click the registry value for MF, or another module you don’t own.
  6. Highlight the value data entry.
  7. Right-click, then select Copy.
  8. Select OK.
  9. Double-click the key for the module you want to add, such as VI.
  10. Paste the copied value into the Value Data field.
  11. Select OK, then close the Registry Editor.

Complete installation

  1. Rename the program folder for the module, such as VI.
  2. Run the Sage 100 installation again

    TIP:

    Reinstall product updates to ensure the new module appears correctly.

     

Additional information

  • Some modules aren’t available for certain versions or editions.
  • Examples include:
    • Work Order isn’t available in Sage 100 Premium editions.
    • Fixed Assets Link requires Sage 100 2016 Product Update one or later.
    • Production Management replaces Work Order in Sage 100 2022.
    • IRP requires Sage 100 2022 Product Update one or later.
