Third-party antivirus software quarantines Sage HRMS and Aatrix files leading to performance issues and errors such as:
"There was an error initializing Sage HRMS: The system can’t find the file specified."
To ensure Sage HRMS functions properly, exclude its files and folders from third-party antivirus scans. Lowering User Account Control (UAC) to "Never Notify" may also help.
Users need adequate permissions to access and modify key files; otherwise, issues with saving drafts, histories, and updates may occur.
The Aatrix user should have local admin rights, and all relevant Sage directories must be visible (not hidden).
In your third-party antivirus program, add the following exclusions or white list:
-
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET
-
On a 64-bit machine – C:\%ServerName%\SageHRMSServer
