Is a cloud environment supported in Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate?

Moving Sage to a cloud hosted environment

• Cloud environments are able to run Sage software
  • Our scope of support includes supporting the Sage product only.
  • We do not setup, configure, or troubleshoot any "Cloud" environments needed to run Sage Software. This would need to be done with an IT Professional.
  • We highly suggest working with your Sage Certified Consultant or Business Partner for Implementation, Deployment, or troubleshooting the Azure environment itself.
• VPN connections are not recommended by Sage due to the unreliability of the connection to the Pervasive/Actian database engine

    - If the VPN connections are abruptly disconnected from the Pervasive/Actian database then it can potentially lock files and damage the integrity of the data

• RDP connections are known to be reliable and work well with the Sage product

    - VPN can be used to connect to the RDP connection and will be considered a "reliable" connection
