Unemployment rate and cap for state in Sage HRMS

Cause

Product updates don’t maintain or update state unemployment, employer percentage, or annual maximum earnings. The customer manually maintains these fields in Federal/State tax codes.

Resolution

Below are steps to change your states employer percentage and annual maximum earning:

  1. From the Navigation Pane, select Setup, Codes, Payroll, then Federal/State Tax Codes.
  2. Select state unemployment code.
  3. Enter the employer percentage and annual maximum earnings for that state.
  4. Click Save.
