Custom Reports displaying on menu but not listed in Report Manager

Description

WARNING: running SY_Menu_UI and choosing Reset will reset menus to default settings.

  • This function resets menus to match the data stored in the SY_MenuDefault file
  • Custom Reports will no longer show in menus and must be re-added
  • Additionally, any changes made manually to the MNUMOD.TXT file will be reset too

(Reset works similar to an electronic device - reset to factory settings)

If custom programming added menu entries and stored them in SY_MenuDefault file then they will exist, if not then they will be reset and need to be added again.

CAUTION: Use caution when working with the below product functionality. Always create a backup of your data before proceeding with advanced solutions. If necessary, seek the assistance of a qualified Sage business partner, network administrator, or Sage customer support analyst.
  1. Make a backup of ..\MAS90\MAS_SYSTEM\SY_Menu.M4T
  2. Click File, Run
  3. Enter SY_Menu_UI and click OK
  4. Click Reset button
  5. Click Accept
  6. Click Close
  7. If report is still not available in Report Manager, remove record from ..\MAS90\MAS_SYSTEM\SY_Menu.M4T, run the SY_Menu_UI utility as described above, then re-import the Custom Report using Report Manager.
