Make entries to closed jobs in Job Cost

There's a setting in JC Settings that permits or denies entries to closed jobs.

Choose an option below to enter transactions to closed jobs. You can change the status of the job to In Progress or clear the setting in JC settings to allow entry to closed jobs.

Change the job status

Change the status of the job to In Progress.

1. In Job Cost, go to Setup, Jobs, Status tab.
2. In the Status section, select In Progress.
3. Click Save and then click Close to save your changes.

Change the closed job setting

Clear the setting in JC Settings to allow entry to closed jobs.

1. In Job Cost, go to File, Company Settings, JC Settings.
2. In the lower left-hand corner, clear the box that states Do not allow entry to closed jobs.
3. Press OK.
