How to run the Annual Projection report

Created on  | Last modified on

Summary

Steps to run the Annual Projection report in Sage Fixed Assets Depreciation.

Resolution

In Sage Fixed Assets:

  1. Go to: Depreciation, Annual Projection.
  2. Select the desired Group, then select the desired Book.
  3. Use the Current Period Date or select Other Date, entering the desired future date for the Report.
  4. Enter the number of years to project forward.
  5. Click Run Report.

Notes:

  • The Annual Projection report only gives the year to date depreciation for each fiscal year on the report
  • The drill-down function isn’t available with this report. However, it’s possible to add multiple sorts with subtotals if desired
  • Projection reports are designed to project future calculations, and can vary from actual results. For example, projections don’t factor in overrides that can occur during an asset's life
  • If you need a detailed report by asset, you can run the depreciation forward and backward as needed. Back up beforehand or use a copy of your company. See How to run a report for a past or future period
