How to add a new user to Direct Deposit so that the user can sync Direct Deposit in Sage 50 Accounting and/or add new users.

Adding a new user to Direct Deposit

  1. In your web browser, go to https://ceum.na.sage.com and sign in with your current Sage account credentials. This will take you to the Sage User Portal.
  2. If you have more than one Direct Deposit company, select the correct company from the Customer Site drop-down list. Click Create new user.
  3. Type in the email address for the new user.
    • If the user already has a Sage account login, the first and last names will auto-populate. Otherwise, type in the user's first and last name
  4. Under Applications select Sage Payroll Direct Deposit Services for Sage 50. If you want the user to be able to add or remove other users, you can select Sage User Management. Otherwise, leave Sage User Management unchecked.
  5. Click Invite. This will send an invitation email with the subject "Getting started with your Sage applications" to the user from [email protected].
  6. The user will need to open the email and click the activation link for Sage Payroll Direct Deposit Services. If they don’t have a Sage account login, they’ll receive a prompt to create one. Otherwise they’ll just need to sign in with their existing Sage account credentials.
    • If the user is to have access to User Management, they’ll need to activate it. Click the Visit User Management to invite other users link in the email to activate their User Management permissions
  7. Once the user has successfully signed into the Sage account login, they’ll receive a "You're all set!" notification. They can now sign into the WebSync Wizard and sync using their Sage account email address.

"Changing" the sync email address

If you need to remove the original email address, once the new user activates, they can log into User Management. Using the steps above they can remove the old user.
