Resolution
CAUTION: Use caution when working with the below product functionality. Always create a backup of your data before proceeding with advanced solutions. If necessary, seek the assistance of a qualified Sage business partner, network administrator, or Sage customer support analyst.
Option 1:
Have all users exit Sage 100. Stop the Sage 100 service
Rename the following files:
..mas90\MAS_System\SY_workstation
..mas90\MAS_System\sy_console,
..mas90\Home\Lib\_Appserv\sessions.pvk
..mas90\Home\Lib\_Appserv\locate.pvx
Start the Sage 100 Applicaton Server as an application to recreate the files
After that the user can run the 100 Application Server as a service if preferred
Rename ..\Documents\Sage 100 folder on workstation having issue for 2016 and higher if still issue and try again.
Option 2:
Disable 'Automatic Logoff' for affected user via Library Master, Security, User Maintenance on the Preferences tab.
