Summary
Sage Timeslips Premium and 2017+ include a Data Verification tool that checks database integrity. You can scan for errors only or scan and repair issues with an automatic backup.
Resolution
Open Timeslips Administrator
This article applies only to Sage Timeslips Premium and Sage Timeslips 2017 and later.
- Open Sage Timeslips.
- Select Special, Timeslips Administrator.
You can also launch it directly.
- Browse to the installation folder, C:\Program Files (x86)\Timeslips.
- Run TSADMIN.EXE.
Start Data Verification
- In the Other section at the bottom, click Data Verification.
- Confirm the correct database displays.
- If needed, click Change and select the correct database.
Choose a Data Verification option
Two verification options are available.
Look for Errors Only
This option checks for issues but doesn’t repair them.
- Select Look for Errors Only.
- Click Yes to start the process.
- Wait for verification to finish.
You can save the results.
- Click Save to File on the Data Verification Results page.
Look for and Repair Errors
This option repairs any detected errors.
- Select Look for and Repair Errors.
- Click Yes to continue.
- Click Yes again to create a backup.
You can save the results.
- Click Save to File on the Data Verification Results page.
