Configuring antivirus software and Windows Defender Firewall for antivirus exclusions.

All antivirus programs can exclude the files and folders from the antivirus scan. Configure your antivirus to add the following folders to the exclusions list on all Sage 100 Contractor machines.

  1. C:\ProgramData\Sage\Sage 100 Contractor SQL
  2. C:\ProgramData\Aatrix Software
  3. C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Sage 100 Contractor SQL
  4. C:\Program Files (x86)\Aatrix Software
  5. C:\%LocalAppData%\Sage\Sage 100 Contractor SQL
  6. The network location of Sage 100 Contractor data. For example, [Installation Drive Letter]:\Sage100Con\Company.

Configuring Windows Firewall

  1. Open Windows Control Panel, System & Security, and select Windows Defender Firewall
  2. In the left menu,  select Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall.
  3. Verify Allowed apps and features shows Sage 100 Contractor SQL Hosting Framework service, and Private and Public options are checked.  NOTE: If the service is not listed, you can add it by selecting the Change Setting and then Allow another app button at the bottom. Browse to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Sage 100 Contractor SQL\ and add the Sage.CRE.HostingFramework.Service.exe service.
IMPORTANT: Ensure Port numbers 443 (Aatrix Software), 1433 (Microsoft SQL Server), 48750, and 48760 (Sage 100 Contractor versions 19 and later) are allowed inbound/outbound TCP and UDP access through the firewall application.
