Folders to exclude from your antivirus and firewall

The folders in Sage 100 Contractor that require exclusion from your antivirus and firewall applications.

Antivirus exclusions list

Verify that the following folder paths are in the antivirus exclusion list.

1. C:\ProgramData\Sage\Sage 100 Contractor SQL.
2. C:\ProgramData\Aatrix Software.
3. C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Sage 100 Contractor SQL.
4. C:\Program Files (x86)\Aatrix Software.
5. C:\%LocalAppData%\Sage\Sage 100 Contractor SQL.
6. C:\ProgramData\Sage\IPM.
7. The network location of Sage 100 Contractor data. For example, [Installation Drive Letter]: \Sage100Con\Company.

Configure Windows Defender Firewall

1. Open Windows Control Panel, System, and Security.
2. Select Windows Defender Firewall.
3. Select Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall. 
4. Verify that the Allowed apps and features include the Sage 100 Contractor SQL Hosting Framework service.
5. Check-mark the Private and Public options.

 NOTE: To list the service, go to Change Setting, select Allow another app and browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Sage 100 Contractor SQL.  Add Sage.CRE.HostingFramework.Service.exe. 

Ports for communication

• For Sage 100 Contractor licensing: Ports 48760 through 48765
• For Aatrix software updates, forms, and reports: Ports 80 and 443
• For Microsoft SQL Server and the SQL Server Browser service: TCP Port 1433 and UDP Port 1434
