Error: “[E-mail address] has paused sharing of...You can access the company when [E-mail address] resumes sharing”

 Log in to the computer that paused sharing

1. Locate the computer and user that paused sharing.
2. Have the user sign into Sage 50 on the computer used to pause sharing.
3. Resume sharing the paused company.

 NOTE: If you can’t identify the user that paused the sharing, sign into every computer with access to the company. Then attempt to resume sharing.

Stop sharing, reshare the company

1. Open the company on the computer that paused the company in read-only mode.
2. Go to File, Remote Data Access and verify it lists the data owner.
   • Select Switch User if the user isn’t and sign in as the Data owner.
3. Go to File, Remote Data Access, Stop Sharing.
4. Reshare the company.
