Summary
Sage Timeslips Audit Trails track changes made to key records in the database. You can activate auditing, review changes, and print detailed audit reports for review.
Resolution
Activate the Audit Trail
- Click Setup, Features Enabled, Feature List.
- Mark the box next to Audit Trails.
- Click Setup, Security, Audit Trails.
- Mark Activate Audit Trails.
- Enter a password to prevent unauthorized settings changes, if needed.
- Mark the tables you want Audit Trails to track.
- Click OK to save the changes.
View and maintain Audit Trail data
- Click Special, then Audit Trails.
- Select filters, such as Timekeeper, Date, and record types.
- Use the icons on the right to view, print, or purge audit records.
- Click column headings to sort the list.
- Click Update to refresh the display.
Print the Audit Trail report
- Click Reports, Other, Audit Trails.
- Select the required filters.
- Limit the date range to one week to avoid record truncation.
- Run the report and print it to PDF.
- Use Ctrl + F in Adobe Reader to search for keywords or transaction IDs.
