Summary
Reports, journals, or registers in Sage 100 display with text cut off or incorrectly sized or shaped fonts
Cause
- The Open Sans Serif font may not be correctly installed to the workstation.
- The Sage Reporting Normal font may not be correctly installed to the workstation.
Resolution
- Verify that the Windows login account has the correct permissions on the workstation.
- Then reinstall the Open Sans Serif font (OpenSans-CondBold.ttf) and/or Sage Reporting Normal font (SageReporting.ttf) to the Windows Fonts directory:
-
- Obtain a copy of OpenSans-CondBold.ttf and/or SageReporting.ttf from another workstation where the problem doesn’t occur, or from Sage 100 Customer Support
- Copy one or more fonts into the Windows Fonts directory (typically "C:\Windows\Fonts"). One or more fonts should automatically be installed by the Windows operating system.
- Note: If the fonts won’t automatically install or fail to install, then there may be a permissions issue still.
-
Note: Beginning with Sage 100 2017, Trend type reports in G/L Financial Reports use the Sage Reporting Normal font, rather than Arial font. Other G/L Financial Reports continue to use an MS Sans Serif font. Other reports and/or journals such as I/M Transaction Register may be set to use the Open Sans Serif font.
NOTE: Default reports are at ..\MAS90\Reports\..... Those reports can’t be modified.
