- Click Special, then select Timeslips Administrator.
- Select Database Timeout.
- Change Amount of time before database timeout.
- Set a Database timeout starts at to define when checks begin.
- Set Database timeout ends at to define when checks stop.
- Click OK to save the settings.
Emulate a never‑time‑out configuration
Use these values to limit timeout checks to a narrow window.
- Amount of time before database timeout: two Hours
- Database timeout starts at: 1:00 am
- Database timeout ends at: 2:00 am
This configuration checks for two hours of inactivity during a one‑hour window, which prevents normal timeouts.
Configure timeout for after‑hours inactivity

- Amount of time before database timeout: 30 Minutes
- Database timeout starts at: 7:00 pm
