Ways to create slips
You can create slips from several locations in Sage Timeslips.
- From the Time and Expense Slip List, click New, the yellow plus icon.
- From Billing Assistant, select Fees, Time Slips, then click New.
- From a navigator, select Enter a Time Slip or Enter an Expense Slip.
Enter slip details
After opening a new slip, complete the required fields.
- Select the appropriate Type using Time or Expense.
- Select the Timekeeper, Client, and Task or Expense.
Other fields remain optional, based on firm requirements.
Commonly used optional fields include:
- Date
- Description
- Time spent
- Rate
Enter the needed information, then save the slip to complete the entry.
