How to open or close a book

NOTE: This will not automatically populate information into a newly opened book. See How to copy a book and/or How to apply book defaults for information on populating empty books.

In Sage Fixed Assets:

1. Go to the File, Edit Company.
2. Click the Book Defaults tab, under the appropriate book; change the Open Book drop down to No if you wish to close the book or to YES if you wish to open the book.
3. Click OK to save the change.
