How to open or close a book

NOTE: This won’t automatically populate information into a newly opened book. See How to copy a book and/or How to apply book defaults for information on populating empty books.

In Sage Fixed Assets:

1. Go to the File, Edit Company.
2. Click the Book Defaults tab. Under the appropriate book, change the Open Book dropdown Yes or No. Yes opens the book and No closes it.
3. Click OK to save the change.
