System Requirements for Sage 100 Contractor version 25.1

IMPORTANT: These requirements for Sage 100 Contractor version 25.1

 CAUTION: The requirements below are guidelines for Sage 100 Contractor. It is important to consider any other software running on the same server or workstation. We recommend discussing your specific requirements with a Sage-certified consultant, taking into account your network setup and business process needs 

Standalone workstation

 NOTE: For a single-user setup, you can host Sage 100 Contractor, License Administration, and Database Administration on one machine

• Processor: Intel® 2nd generation Core processor or ADM equivalent
   NOTE: We don't support Windows for ARM, PowerPC, Alpha, or MIPS architectures
• Memory: 4 GB with 1.4 GB available
• Storage: SATA II solid-state drive with 100 GB free space (for company nightly backups)
• Operating System: Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit, Professional or Enterprise (no Home Editions)
• Other software: PowerShell required
• SQL server version: Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016, or 2022, 64-bit, Express, Standard or Enterprise
• Monitor: 1280 x 1024
• Printer:  Printer with Microsoft-certified printer driver
• Microsoft Office: Only required for emailing documents from within Sage 100 Contractor 

 NOTE: For multiple users, we recommend client/server setup in a Workgroup or Domain environment. 

Server

• Processor: Intel® 8th generation Core or AMD equivalent
    NOTE: We don't support Windows for ARM, PowerPC, Alpha, or MIPS architectures
• Memory (RAM): 16 GB (with 8 GB available for SQL Server)
• Storage: SATA II solid-state drive, 500 GB free space for Sage
• Network: High-speed network connection (preferably gigabit Ethernet)
• Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2022, 64-bit Essentials, Standard, or Enterprise
• Monitor: 1280 x 1024 resolution
• Other software: PowerShell required
• Database Engine: Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016, or 2022, 64-bit Express, Standard, or Enterprise
   NOTE: MS SQL Server 2016 isn't supported on Windows Server 2022 

Workstation Client

• Processor: Intel® 2nd generation Core or AMD equivalent
   NOTE: We don't support Windows for ARM, PowerPC, Alpha, or MIPS architectures  
• Memory (RAM): 4 GB (with 1.4 GB available)
• Network: High-speed network connection (preferably gigabit Ethernet)
• Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 Professional or Enterprise, 64-bit (no Home Editions)
• Monitor: 1280 x 1024 resolution
• Printer: Printer with Microsoft-certified printer driver
• Microsoft Office: Only required for emailing documents from within Sage 100 Contractor
