Summary

Where do the numbers come from on the 5-4-3-21 ACA Full-Time Equivalent Count Report in Sage 100 Contractor

Resolution

Employees are listed in numerical order from top to bottom, with the months listed in ascending order from left to right.

The Numbers in the body of the report correspond to the total number of ACA Hours for that employee and month as entered in the employee's 5-2-2 payroll records for the Calendar Year entered in the report printing screen. The report must be run in the database where the payroll records exist for the Calendar Year entered.

All payroll records are accounted for in this total except voided records. Any employee that is listed as part-time (or left blank) on the ACA tab in 5-2-1 and has worked 120 hours or more will have their number of hours listed as 120 as this value constitutes 1 official ACA full-time count.
If the employee is listed as a full-time employee on the ACA tab in 5-2-1 Employees then FT will be displayed instead of the number of hours.

Total Hours: This is the total ACA hours for all employees for the particular month that the number appears under.

FTE Count: This is the Total ACA hours for that month divided by 120 and rounded to two decimal places.

Total FT + FTE Count: This is the FTE Count plus all FT employee counts for that month rounded to two decimal places.

Twelve Month Total FT + FTE: This is the Total FT + FTE Count for all twelve months added together and rounded to two decimal places.

Monthly Average FT + FTE: This is the Twelve Month Total FT + FTE divided by 12 and rounded to two decimal places.

Official FT + FTE: This is your Monthly Average FT + FTE rounded up to the nearest whole number and represents your count for the year that you must report on.

TIP: Part-time employees require 130 hours to appear on the report.
