Workers' Compensation rates and ceilings

Sage doesn’t maintain or update workers compensation codes including rates and ceilings.

Workers' compensation groups and codes let you assign different workers' compensation insurance rates to different types of employee. You can also assign different insurance rates to specific types of work done by any employee both in the Employee Payroll pane and during timecard entry.

Follow the steps below to change the rate or ceiling for workers compensation:

1. From the Navigation Pane, select Setup, Codes, Payroll, Workers' Compensation Codes
2. Select WC Group
3. Update the Current and Previous Start Date and Ceiling fields
4. Enter the Rate and Previous Rate
5. Click Save.
