Workers' Compensation rates and ceilings

Sage doesn’t maintain or update workers compensation codes including rates and ceilings.

Workers' compensation groups and codes assign insurance rates based on employee roles or tasks. You can set different rates in the Employee Payroll pane or during timecard entry.

Follow the steps below to change the rate or ceiling for workers compensation:

1. From the Navigation Pane, select Setup, Codes, Payroll, Workers' Compensation Codes.
2. Select WC Group.
3. Update the Current and Previous Start Date and Ceiling fields.
4. Enter the Rate and Previous Rate.
5. Click Save.
