Taxable wages aren’t correct for the amount of tax withheld

Summary

Taxable wages are incorrect in Sage HRMS.

Cause

If you leave the Ceiling Wage and No Ceiling Wage fields blank when creating a Transaction History entry, the system excludes taxable wages from year-end totals.

Resolution

  1. From the Navigation Pane, select Payroll, Tasks, Transaction History.
  2. Enter the employee ID and date of the transaction with the missing information.
  3. Enter the Ceiling Wage and No Ceiling Wage.
  4. Click 'Save '.
  5. Rerun the Tax Calculation Analysis report to confirm that taxable wages are correct.
