Ports and URLs used by Sage Fixed Assets to exclude from the firewall.
Resolution
Firewall exceptions:
- Open Firewall Port TCP 443 for both inbound and outbound traffic
Sage Fixed Assets Network and Premier:
- Network uses TCP port 2638 (inbound and outbound) for the server/client connection
- Premier uses TCP port 1433 (inbound and outbound) for the server/client connection

Whitelist these URLs in highly secure environments to allow Sage Fixed Assets to reach the internet for the following elements:
- Sage Advisor Update:
- https://update.sage.com
- https://download.sage.com
Registration:
- https://licensing2.services.sage.com
- https://cece.na.sage.com
Chatbot:
- https://www.chatbase.co
- https://www.chatbase.co/api/v1
- https://cdn.na.sage.com/docs/en/customer/sfa/Content
- Alternatively: Add the <DeactivateChatbot>True</DeactivateChatbot> Tag to the Product's XML file to disable the chatbot from starting
- To find the Product’s XML file: On the Client, browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Fixed Assets\<Product folder>\<Product>.xml file
- The <Product folder> will be Depreciation, Depreciation - Network or Premier Depreciation depending on your product. The <Product>.xml will be FASACCT for Depreciation and Depreciation – Network, and ASSTACCT for Premier Depreciation
