Sage HR integration improvements in the 2nd January 2024 tax update

Summary

The 2nd January 2024 tax update (slated for release in early February 2024) contains important fixes and enhancements to Sage HR integration functionality. Subsequent tax updates contain the same fixes.

Resolution

 NOTE: To take advantage of these improvements to Sage HR functionality contained in the tax update, install the 2024.0.1 version first. The 2024.0.1 product and the latest tax update can be downloaded from Sage 50—U.S. Edition: Download Portal

Resolved issues:

  • Sage HR payslip upload crashes when a paycheck contains more than 30 distributions (taxes, deductions, etc.) - Fixed
  • Sage HR payslips with too many PayInfo rows, creating a third page, causing a failure to upload - Fixed
  • Meals and Tips (etc.) issue preventing Sage HR payslip upload - Fixed

Product enhancements:

  • Now will sync Employee Hire Date to Sage HR (on saving when creating new employees only)
  • Meals and Tips are shown in the Earnings section of the pay statement in Sage HR
