Error: "Tax Class is missing from tax code xx"

Summary

The error "Tax Class is missing from tax code XX" occurs when entering a Miscellaneous line item as the first line in Sage 100.

Resolution

We reported and fixed this issue in the following versions:
  • 2024.0 - fixed in 2024.1
  • 2023.3 - fixed in 2023.4
