Class Non-existent error running CLOPER on specific patch

Summary

Error may present on patch 35. Log reading will include the actual error as: @X3.TRT/UTICPTA$adx (604) Error 7 : Class Non-existent [F:LNK]

Cause

related to prior hot fix

Resolution

Use Log reading to see the period closing validation errors. Address these per normal process and attempt to close period.

Contact support for a Hot Fix that can be applied to Patch 35 only. The fix will be included in Patch 36. This fix is designed to be applied to the X3 reference folder. When applied only to the child folder, it will not correct the error condition.

Steps to duplicate

  1. Launch, Reports, Reports function.

  2.  Select CLOPER report code.

  3.        Attempt to run the report and a series of hard errors present.
