Product update requirements for payroll tax updates

Summary

In Sage 300, to install a tax update, your system must be using a compatible version of System Manager.

Description

When the two versions aren’t compatible, you’ll see this error: "The installed version of System Manager (version #.#) is not compatible with the Payroll Tax Update you are attempting to install..."

Resolution

Install the latest product updates for System Manager, US Payroll, and Canadian Payroll.

  • Open support.na.sage.com.
  • Log in with your Sage Portal credentials.
  • Under the Support by product section, Select your product, choose Sage 300.
  • Choose the version of Sage 300 you’re using.
  • Under Latest updates, download and install the latest version.
