Summary

When trying to turn daily payroll into timecards, error displays: Unable to complete operation: The INSERT statement conflicted with the check constraint "CK:payrec.acahr1. The conflict occurred in database (company), table 'dbo.payrec', column acahr1. The statement has been terminated.

Cause

One of the cells for payrate or hours is higher than what is expected.

Resolution

  1. Open each day in 5-5-1 Daily payroll
  2. Look in the columns for Pay Rate, Hours, Piece Rate and Pieces to verify the information is correct
  3. If anything shows over what is expected (more than the amount of hourly pay like over 100 or hours in a day like over 12), change to what it should be
  4. Create timecards.
