Summary
" AddressLocationType:ShipTo " and " AddressLocationType:ShipFrom " message pops up when attempting to Invoice Sales order in Shipping Data Entry
Resolution
UPDATE: Avalara resolved this issue. Customers should no longer have issues when using shipping data entry. (updated on February 1, 2025 7:11 AM PT)
Avalara has acknowledged an issue as of 1/31/2025 1:45pm EST.
Additional details:
- It doesn’t happen on ALL orders, including those orders configured with the AVATAX, sales tax schedule)
- Relevant data is not passed on to any third party solutions (Starship as an example), when selecting "OK" to bypass the error.
- Verify the issue by changing the tax schedule from AVATAX to another tax schedule and notethe order processes through as expected.
