Planning (CIP): Changes to Transaction view not saving

Summary

Steps to resolve issues when saving changes to the transaction view in Sage Fixed Assets Planning (CIP).

Description

Any changes on the Transaction level are not being saved on close/open of the Project or client. 

Adding/removing columns revert to all columns being shown.

Resolution

  1. Download Planning fixes 20251.zip 
  2. For each file, right-click the downloaded zip file and select Properties. Check Unblock and click Apply and OK. 
    •  NOTE: If you see the Unblock option, you must select it before extracting   
    • If the Unblock box is not there, move on to the next step 
  3. Extract the Planning.UI.dll (3/18/2025), Sage.SFA.BusinessLogic.dll (3/18/2025), UI.Application.dll (3/12/2025), Planning.Globals.dll (2/27/2025) and Sage.SFA.LocalSettings.dll (3/12/2025) from the downloaded zip.  
  4. On the Client, browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Fixed Assets\<Product folder>. Rename the existing Planning.UI.dll, Planning.Globals.dll, Sage.SFA.BusinessLogic.dll, UI.Application.dlland Sage.SFA.LocalSettings.dll  to .old and copy the extracted files to the same location. 
    •  NOTE: <Product folder> will be Planning, Planning - Network or Premier Planning depending on your product
