System Manager

  • New Feature: Automatic Backup Scheduler. Schedule backups when users are out of the program—daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Close all Sage BusinessWorks sessions during scheduled System database backups. We recommend backing up company data daily. If a backup fails, a message will appear on your screen. It saves log files in the same directory as your backup files. Find this under File, Backup Scheduler
NOTE: To use the Backup Scheduler, users must maintain an active support agreement. Keep the computer powered on during scheduled backup times. Ensure the administrator stays logged into Windows to allow the task to run successfully
  • New Feature: Product code is viewable in Help.  Locate your product code in Help, About or on the server in the Sage\BWProg\BWServer.ini file. This helps when moving a network version to a new server or location without contacting support
