Error: "Error 1304. Error writing to file: CrystalDecisions.VSDesigner.Mobile.resources.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory" when installing Sage 100 ERP or SAP Crystal Report Runtime on Windows 11
Workaround:
1. Download and manually install Crystal Reports Runtime 13.0.34
2. Disable the Smart APP, Windows feature
A reinstall of Microsoft Windows is the only method to turn this feature back on. Consult your Network Administrator for assistance before proceeding to the steps below.
- Select the Windows Start button, Settings.
- Alternatively, select the Start button, Enter Smart App in the search field and select Smart App Control. Skip to Step 6 below.
- Select Privacy & Security from the right panel, then select Windows Security.
- Select App and browser control.
- Select Smart App Control settings under Smart App Control.
- Select Off and confirm changes, then reboot the workstation.
