Run the database update on the server

Run the database update directly on the server.

1. Go to the server.
2. Select Start, Sage BusinessWorks, Database Update.
3. When the company list appears, click Start.

Resolve security software blocking

Security software can prevent the database update from completing.

Examples include Trusteer, Rapport, or Webroot.

1. Uninstall the security software.
2. Select Start, Sage BusinessWorks, Database Update.
3. Run the database update again.
4. After updating all companies, reinstall the security software.
