Review the upgrade instructions if upgrading from version 2012 or earlier

Upgrade all your databases

1. Click the Windows Start button, and type Database Update.
2. Select the databases to update.
3. Click Start.
4. If the database update doesn't launch or an error displays, attempt to update directly at the server.

Upgrade databases one at a time

• Sage BusinessWorks automatically launches the Database update as each company is accessed
• When selecting or restoring a company you haven't updated, the Sage BusinessWorks - Database Update window displays
• The selected company and BWSystem1400 databases display with check marks to indicate that they’re selected for update
• Click Start to begin the update process

Verify you’re working in the correct company

1. Go to File, Select Company.
2. Select your company.
